Pencils For Kids, Inc. 4th Annual Golf Tournament will be held Monday, March 26, 2012, at El Caballero Country Club in Tarzana, which features an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. All proceeds will benefit Pencils for Kids, Inc.¹s mission to help children in need in developing countries attend school and build better futures.
The tournament will begin in the morning with a Shotgun start and a friendly shamble format. We have space for 144 players to join us in this day of fun and goodwill.
There will be a silent auction with fantastic prizes, along with a sweepstakes for memorable travel prizes. In addition, the day will include breakfast, a BBQ lunch and cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.
The private El Caballero Country Club has been host to numerous SCGA- and
PGA- sponsored tournaments over the past 25 years, including The Office Depot/City of Hope LPGA Championship and the U.S. Open Regional Qualifying Tournaments.
